Technology · Skin grafting

Instagraft® is our own skin grafting technology, developed in the subsidiary Instagraft AB. It closes the wound after debridement and infection control, with a minimally invasive technique for re-epithelialisation. It builds on what we learned from EPIPROTECT®, the biosynthetic cellulose dressing S2Medical developed and which is today owned and carried forward by ABENA.

The graft question
Skin grafting without donor sites
Conventional grafting often creates a second wound at the donor site. Instagraft is built to close the wound without that step: a minimally invasive route to re-epithelialisation.
Conventional grafting
- Requires a donor site
- Creates a second wound
- Supply and handling constraints
